A couple of weekends ago, one of our local residents who is Brazilian organised a fundraiser for Makara Model School. The event was well supported by the local Brazilian community, including the Brazilian Ambassador!
Highlight of the day was the Brazilian drumming troop, which got our feet tapping and hips swaying! The kids had a great time, and even got to have a go on the instruments.
It was a fantastic afternoon. Thanks to all who came along and made the event a success.
